I am running for Gilbert Town Council because of my love for our community and because I�m very excited about the many fantastic opportunities we are about to experience, if given a chance to occur. Our town needs and deserves leaders who listen and who have the common sense and balance to keep our town moving forward. Currently, we are the 16th most desirable community to live in within the United States. We are also the safest community in Arizona and the 22nd safest in the entire U.S. Given that Gilbert was the fastest growing city in the U.S. for a decade, achieving this kind of success is phenomenal. Additionally, the council currently enjoy a 98 percent overall approval rating from our citizens. Our community not only needs to cleave onto this evidence of community excellence, but we should improve on them as well.
LG, Al Yousuf Electronics join cricket fever
Further underlining its longstanding relationship with sport, global digital leader LG and its UAE distributor Al Yousuf Electronics recently hosted a cricket tournament for its dealers and retailers across the UAE, at Dubai's Insportz Indoor Stadium. The event was held as part of LG's Diamond Club activities for key electronic dealers and retailers, along with LG-Al Yousuf customers, from the UAE, who were invited to participate by forming their own staff cricket team. The objective of the tournament was to strengthen the relationship between LG Electronics, Al Yousuf and its resellers through an entertaining activity. Pointing out that sport was a natural medium to build relationships, Mr. C. H. Lee, President of LG Electronics Gulf FZE, said: "We wanted to further boost the strong bond with our distributors and resellers by bringing them together in an atmosphere of solidarity, and no better way to do that than through cricket, a universal sport loved and appreciated by many." Local sports producer works way to the top
